Some of the most important questions for our employees and customers

  • For work in Denmark:
Our employees are paid in accordance with the Danish Industry Agreement and relevant local agreements that our customers are covered by.

We comply with all applicable Danish laws and regulations. Employees are covered by statutory occupational injury insurance and, where applicable, also by our professional liability insurance.

We respect and comply with international conventions on human rights and labor rights, including ILO standards.

    When working in the EU:
When working in other EU countries, we ensure compliance with local employee relations legislation. This includes A1 certificate requirements and possible registration in relevant national registers. Depending on several factors, the employee will be covered by social security either in the country of work or in Denmark - in accordance with EU regulations.

    When working outside the EU:
We consult with local advisors to ensure compliance with local regulations.

  • DMA International is a member of DI and is a signatory to the Industrial Agreement. In addition, DMA employees can be paid according to specific local agreements, and we work with customers who want specific supplementary agreements.

  • Employees working on projects in Denmark pay tax in Denmark. When working in another EU country, employees will generally be liable for tax in the country where the work is performed. However, tax liability depends on several factors - including the length of stay, local tax rules and the applicable double taxation agreements, which aim to prevent double taxation. This means that the employee usually only has to pay tax in either the country of work or the home country.

When working outside the EU, there may be different conditions depending on national regulations. In these cases, we work with local advisors to ensure that all tax matters and permits are handled correctly and in accordance with applicable legislation.

  • We comply with international labor regulations and conventions. DMA employees work according to the EU Working Time Directive.

Directive 2003/88/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 4 November 2003 concerning certain aspects of the organization of working time

  • We have different agreements with our employees in terms of how many weeks they are out at a time. This can be based on customer requests or local agreements. Rotation plans are drawn up for each project, where we ensure that the number of employees on a project is kept constant so that production is not slowed down by rotations.
